 I am getting good at using a chromebook to help me with my writing.  I like to record my first sentences to help me remember what I am writing as I sound out my words.  Here is a video of me doing my work.

Colin is good at spelling

Here is a video we recorded of Colin practising his spelling words earlier in the term.  He is so independent at doing this and this is a great part of his calming routine when he comes back into class after being out at Numicon and PMP.  Well done Colin on being so awesome.

Colin Loves the Library

I am getting good at writing stories on paper.  I use my chart to help me sound out my words.  I practice sharing my idea or sentence and can then write them down.  Often I record myself on my iPad so I can play it back to myself.   Here is a video of me doing my writing sample.  I am super clever at writing now.  I am so proud of myself.

 This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.

ln Team Awa we had an outdoor learning day. We got to go outside day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were learning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what I learned.
